I'm not sorry for relentlessly persisting through the fog, mistakes, and all.

01

Try not to focus too much on being likeable.

It is impossible to please everyone and get everyone to like you. Love yourself and believe in yourself first. If others also believe in you, that’s a cherry on top, but that intrinsic confidence is paramount.

02

Focus on “Opportunities for Improvement”.

Take the positive view on how to learn and grow in every situation, don’t focus on blame, excuses, faults or failures. A negative mindset is demoralising, whereas the positive perspective is motivating and even inspiring.

03

Always keep learning and growing.

You don’t have to be perfect, and it’s okay to fail, but you do have to try. Always keep learning, never plateau or flatline. The only constant is change - if you’re not moving forward, you’re moving backward.

One thing to take away

If I can do it, you can too. There's nothing special about me except this: I never stopped moving forward. You can surprise yourself with what you accomplish if you just relentlessly persist. And to the women constantly asked "who does she think she is?"—the answer doesn't matter. Persist anyway.
