If it's scary and exciting but also feels right, the answer is always ‘yes’.
Most of the best things in my life came from decisions that were uncomfortable at the time such as moving countries, starting businesses, travelling alone, speaking to people I didn’t know, taking opportunities before I felt ready. Fear usually means you’re about to grow. Excitement means you actually want it. When both are there, it’s usually a sign you should go for it.

Live a life that’ll make your 8 year-old self and your 80 year-old self happy.
I try to live in a way where my younger self would think my life is exciting and my older self would think my life was meaningful. At the end of life, you don’t regret the things you tried, you regret the things you didn’t do. I want to be able to look back and honestly say I minimised the number of times I said, “I wish I did that.”

The journey is better than the destination.
Goals are important, but the day-to-day process of building, learning, travelling, meeting people, and growing is actually the best part. If you only live for the big milestones, you miss most of life. I try to enjoy the process: building companies, improving my craft, exploring new places, and becoming a little better every year.
